The event will be held on Friday July 9th and Saturday July 10th. Walser will be on hand for the concert festivities with the Walser RV. On Friday, July 9, Weezer will be headlining the Sun Country Main Stage while Spoon holds down the top slot on the Church Stage. Also on Friday Eric Hutchinson and One Eskimo will perform. Barenaked Ladies will headline the Saturday concert and Ingrid Michaelson will be playing that stage while The Avett Brothers, V.V. Brown, and Robert Francis will be appearing on the Church Stage.



The Basilica Block Party began in 1995 as a fundraiser to pay for the $9.5 million structural restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary. Proceeds from the Basilica Block Party fund the continued renovation of The Basilica. Five percent of proceeds of the event will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul outreach program. The program provides food and shelter to nearly 3,500 people a month, as well as shoes and transportation assistance to 250 people every week. The ultimate goal of the Basilica Block Party is to promote the spirit of volunteerism and community.
