The event will see intense competition among the 48 vessels participating in the regatta. Out of these, there are 12 Salona 37 in class with spinnaker; 19 Bavaria 42 match, and 10 ‘gray’ Elan 340 (class without spinnaker) and 7 ‘blue’ Elan 340 (class with spinnaker). The racing route will be Sali-Marina Piškera-Murter. Linz Cup is held every two years since 2000.

The Bavaria 42 match fleet belongs to the Adriatic Challenge d.o.o, a yacht charter in Croatia, had earlier been appreciated in the Kornati Cup regatta held in May.
