Chapel Hill, NC: Sharon Hill, president of Sharon Hill International, has announced her appointment to the position of North Carolina Toastmasters International District Governor. Starting July 1, Hill will begin serving as the state’s chief executive officer, overseeing the activities of Toastmasters International clubs throughout North Carolina.
Toastmasters International is a worldwide nonprofit organization that prepares members by helping them become more experienced and comfortable in front of audiences. Organization members meet weekly, learning and practicing public speaking skills, such as delivering a prepared speech or demonstrating an impromptu performance.
