For Immediate Release:

(eWebWire.com) June 25, 2010 — WORLD WIDE WEB, June 25, 2010 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) — LOS ANGELES, June 22, 2010 – Buckeye Color Lab announced last week that William Innes has been selected as one of six expert bloggers on their new photography blog, www.TheMentorBlog.net.

The purpose of the blog is to provide a free learning resource to budding professional photographers. Innes will be contributing regular posts to the blog. He is an expert Los Angeles Wedding Photographer and educator. He, along with other experts, will provide insightful knowledge about the various aspects of professional photography.

"I am very honored to be associated with such a great group of fellow photographers,” said Innes. “I am very excited about writing blog articles that can help our readers hone their photography and business skills."

William Innes has worked as a professional wedding photographer for the past five years, after leaving a career in the aerospace industry. He discovered his love for the camera as a child, when he played with his father’s old Praktica MLT5 camera. Even as an amateur, Innes demonstrated his skill behind the lens. National Geographic named Innes one of ten winners of an amateur photography contest for a panoramic scene taken in Greece.

Speaking about the secret behind his successful second career, he says that it is possible to create exceptional photographs only if you take the time to personally know your clients or models.

Innes uses his post-production skills to transform standard photographs into exceptional works of art. At the Mentor Blog, he intends to pass these techniques on to new and upcoming photographers. Innes has run his own business for the past five years. He believes the skills necessary to run a successful business are as important to an artist as the technical and artistic aspects of the work. Photographers can expect to hear from him about managing a photography studio effectively, as well as taking masterful photographs.

William Innes is a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). He has been a regular columnist at www.ShootSmarter.com and has successfully organized a number of workshops on Santa Monica Wedding Photography over the years.
