For Immediate Release:

(eWebWire.com) July 07, 2010 — WORLD WIDE WEB, July 07, 2010 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) — CLARKESVILLE STATION

Clarkesville Station began their journey 3 years ago as a studio band. They are a songwriting duo by the name of Monroe Mullin and Steve Clarke. They have been in the New Jersey music scene for over 20 years now. Their style of music ranges from classical country to southern rock. Their sound is very classic and is a clear reminder of what bands were made of back in the glory years.

Clarkesville Station is proud to introduce their newest single, “Love That Girl” which is off of their new CD, “Notso Lonesome”. This song is about a natural and free spirited woman that he loves. It’s a story that is told with emotion in retrospect. The feelings that it brings up is old style Americana country woman and man song. It is also representative of the entire CD being well arranged, recorded and performed. They have wonderful melodies and harmonies with great rhythms and lyrics and that signature country heart beat that is loved by everyone. It is a perfect fusion between old style country and the more current.

“Notso Lonesome” was released around 8 months ago to wonderful reviews.

Monroe Mullin has recorded many songs in Nashville with award winning writer and producer, Clay Mills. Clay has worked with Darius Rucker, Clay Walker, Lady Antabellium to name a few. Monroe also collaborated with Marc Muller from the Shania Twain Band. He has been key in the sound that Clarkesville Station is producing today. Steve Clarke brought in a truly dynamic rhythm section by the names of Chris Pluckett and Bobby Boyd. Chris has also done session work in Nashville and has toured with Hank William Jr. Bobby is a polished drummer and has played and toured with numerous bands.

Clarkesville Station is currently working with A & R Select in West Hollywood, Ca. for a record deal, licensing, publishing and/or placement opportunities.
